2021 has been an extremely busy year for our long-standing client Sportradar, a leading global provider of sports betting and sports entertainment products and services. Following the acquisitions of Synergy Sports, Fresh Eight and Interact Sport and the conclusion of a long-term deal with the NHL, on all of which BRANDL TALOS advised, Sportradar has now successfully listed its shares on NASDAQ at a valuation of approx. USD 8billion.

Nicholas advises international gaming, betting and entertainment companies on regulatory, licensing, compliance, commercial and transactional matters.

He is an expert in international gambling law, including aspects of EU law, social gaming, e-sports and fantasy sports. He also advises video game publishers and clients on various gaming products. Nicholas regularly represents clients in regulatory and licensing matters before national regulators, at European associations and before EU institutions. He advises clients on gambling and sports betting licensing in several jurisdictions. Nicholas has (co-) authored several publications and is excited to be driving the LegalTech initiative at BT.
