BRANDL TALOS advises Smedvig Ventures on Series A financing of chatlyn

BRANDL TALOS has advised lead investor Smedvig Ventures on the EUR 8 million Series A financing round of AI start-up chatlyn.

The Vienna-based start-up is developing an AI-powered communication platform that helps hotels respond to guest inquiries, manage bookings, and coordinate internal operations. Already supporting over 1,000 hotel partners – including leading international brands – in 30 countries, chatlyn is helping modernize hospitality communication at scale. The platform offers features such as visual booking chats, automated reviews, real-time translation and seamless integration with leading hotel management systems.

The new funds will be used to accelerate chatlyn’s expansion, both technologically and geographically.

The BRANDL TALOS team was led by Roman Rericha and Adrian Zuschmann. chatlyn was advised by Wolf Theiss (Zeno Grabmayr, Nikolaus Wollner).
