BRANDL TALOS advises Sportradar on $ 30 million acquisition of XLMedia PLC’s North American business

BRANDL TALOS advised its longstanding client Sportradar on the acquisition of the key assets of XLMedia PLC’s North American business.

The transaction was signed on 21 October 2024 and, after satisfaction of certain customary conditions, completed on 13 November 2024.

XLMedia PLC is a sports digital media company that operated various publishing assets across a wide variety of industry verticals. Following the sale of its European business earlier this year, XLMedia now sold its remaining North American media assets to Sportradar.

The BRANDL TALOS team was led by Thomas Talos and Stephan Strass. Bryan Cave (Douglas Mishkin) and Adelman Matz (Sarah Matz, Sebastian Hoskins, Sarah Sanchez) advised on US law aspects.

XLMedia was advised by Ashurst LLP (Markjan van Schaardenburgh, Daniel Hobbs).
