BRANDL TALOS advised its longstanding client Sportradar on the acquisition of IMG Arena and its strategic portfolio of global sports betting rights.

Sportradar Group AG (NASDAQ: SRAD), a leading global sports technology company, announced the execution of a definitive agreement with Endeavor Group Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: EDR) to acquire IMG Arena and its global sports betting rights portfolio.

IMG Arena specializes in the distribution of real-time data, streaming and sports betting content to leading betting companies and media houses. Its portfolio includes around 39,000 sporting events a year in 14 disciplines, including Wimbledon, the US Open, the French Open, the EuroLeague in basketball and the PGA Tour. This acquisition enhances Sportradar’s content and product offering and further strengthens its strategic position as a leading content provider in global sports, including tennis, soccer and basketball.

The transaction is subject to receipt of regulatory approvals and satisfaction of closing conditions and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025.
