Brandl Talos advises aws Gründerfonds on its investment in the Viennese start-up Rendity

Vienna, November 12, 2020 – aws Gründerfonds joins Vienna-based start-up Rendity as lead investor in a €1.8 million seed financing round with other investors from the real estate industry. Rendity operates a real estate investment platform that enables small investors as well as institutional investors to invest in real estate.

The demand for crowdinvesting models has been increasing for years and is becoming more and more popular. On the Rendity platform, private customers can invest in a real estate project from an amount of 500 euros. There are also offers for institutional investors. In addition to new construction projects, there will also be financing models for existing properties in the future. Since its inception, the company has financed more than 80 real estate projects with an average term of 28 months and an annual return of 6.1 percent for investors. As a result, real estate projects in Germany and Austria with a total volume of 455 million euros have been realized in recent years.

The investment by aws Gründerfonds and the real estate experts will be used to finance the company’s international growth, in particular its expansion into Germany. The Brandl Talos transaction team was formed by Markus Arzt and Christina Bernhart.
