Legal internships offer students the opportunity to gain work experience in the daily business of law firms during semester breaks.
To provide them with a comprehensive insight within a limited period of time, we at BRANDL TALOS make sure to integrate our interns into their respective teams on an equal footing.

No-nonsense internships
Interns at BRANDL TALOS take on legal tasks from day one and support our lawyers in providing the best possible service to our clients. After a general onboarding and training by student colleagues, they work independently on enquiries from the team and are always given the entire context and file access. We are convinced that an internship should not present an artificial working atmosphere but should offer a low-threshold introduction to practice.
Come as you are
That is why we do not set any minimum requirements for our applicant profile. Internships at BRANDL TALOS are open to students of all law degree programmes, regardless of how advanced they are in their studies or how much practical experience they already have. We are looking for committed interns who are willing to discover new areas of law and who would like to contribute to the work of the teams with their own solutions and ideas.

Interview dates are scheduled for February 2026.
We are aware that for many applicants an internship is their first direct contact with a law firm. That is why we aim to create a relaxed atmosphere for the interviews to ease the nervousness of applicants. Our group interviews are about getting to know the candidates and evaluating a mutual “fit” – not about testing legal expertise. This meeting takes place in the presence of HR, a lawyer and a student research assistant. We invite up to 6 candidates per meeting.
Do you feel uncomfortable in larger groups? No problem – we are happy to take this into consideration and offer individual appointments as an alternative.

Confirmations for our 2026 summer internships will be communicated in early March 2026.

We make sure keep in touch with our future interns with regular updates and details on the summer programme, so they know what to look forward to.
05Welcome on eye level
To make it easier to get started, we provide all interns with a contact person from the respective student team before their first day.
